Cowboy K9's next AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class will meet on Wednesdays at 6 pm at 1200 Skyline Dr. Laramie, WY. The fee is $140 and is payable in full on the first evening of class. We accept cash, card, or check. Over the 6 weeks we will introduce the following concepts:
 

• Games (competitive vs non-competitive, food vs. toy)

• Leash language (loose leash walking, identifying leash tension, handling

technique)

• Positive Reinforcement and Markers

• Five Essential Commands (recall, sit/down, place, loose leash walking)

• Working with distractions (other dogs, new people)

 

At the end of the course there will be a short test conducted in order to be awarded the

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy designation.
